Porsche has unveiled the latest iterations of its iconic sports cars, the 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring, marking the 25th anniversary of the GT3 model. Both vehicles are powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 502 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, allowing them to achieve a top speed of up to 195 mph.
Designed for driving enthusiasts, the GT3 is focused on track-ready performance, with advanced aerodynamics, including a redesigned front diffuser and rear wing to optimize downforce. For the first time, Porsche is offering the Weissach Package for the GT3, featuring lightweight carbon fiber-reinforced parts for enhanced track performance.
The GT3 Touring version offers a more understated approach, replacing the fixed rear wing with a retractable spoiler, making it a more subtle option for everyday driving while retaining the high-performance DNA of the GT3.
The Touring also offers additional luxury, with an optional leather interior and even an available rear seat, catering to those looking for a blend of speed and comfort. Both models feature Porsche’s Track Screen, which reduces digital displays to essential track-focused data, along with lightweight bucket seats designed for racing comfort.
Porsche has also focused on improving driving dynamics with the 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring. Both models benefit from shorter gear ratios for more responsive driving, improved suspension for better handling, and a new double-wishbone front axle for enhanced stability at high speeds. This, combined with new lightweight materials such as magnesium wheels (available with the Weissach Package) and a lithium-ion battery, make the new 911 GT3 even more agile and responsive on the road and track.
The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring will be available for order by the end of 2024, with deliveries expected in summer 2025. Pricing for the new models starts at $222,500 USD. Porsche enthusiasts can also look forward to an exclusive Porsche Design chronograph, available to GT3 owners, which mirrors the car’s precision and design with COSC-certified movements and customizable dials to match the car’s exterior colors.
