Unveiling The Nilu27 a Hypercar by a Former Bugatti and Koenigsegg Designer

AUTOMOBILES/LIXSR   August 10, 2024

Nilu27, a new hypercar brand founded by Sasha Selipanov (formerly of Koenigsegg and Bugatti) and Inna Selipanov, has introduced its first vehicle, the NILU hypercar. This stunning machine is set to be unveiled at Pebble Beach during Monterey Car Week.

The NILU hypercar breaks away from modern automotive trends, focusing on a pure, analog driving experience powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine, producing over 1,000 hp.

The car’s design is heavily inspired by 1960s F1 racers, classic Italian automotive design, and Bauhaus principles, resulting in a vehicle that is as visually striking as it is powerful.

In contrast to the industry’s push toward electrification, the NILU hypercar emphasizes driver engagement through features like an open-gate seven-speed manual transmission and a distraction-free steering wheel. Only 15 units of the NILU will be produced, ensuring its exclusivity.

Additionally, a street-homologated version will be available, limited to just 54 units. The NILU will be showcased at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 15, offering a rare opportunity to see this exceptional hypercar up close.
