Seiko Unveils New Presage Classic Series

Seiko, renowned for its precision and elegance in watchmaking, recently introduced the latest addition to its prestigious Presage collection: the New Presage Classic Series. This series showcases a perfect mix of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and mechanical watchmaking expertise, presented in a collection that radiates timeless charm. Inspired by the rich heritage of Japanese crafts, the New Presage Classic Series stands as a testament to Seiko’s dedication to excellence and innovation in horology.
At the heart of the New Presage Classic Series are three new models, each representing the essence of classic design with a touch of Japanese artistry. These watches feature a 40.2mm stainless steel case paired with a newly designed 7-link metal bracelet, crafted for comfort and elegance, balancing sleekness with sophistication.
The dials of the New Presage Classic Series steal the show, showcasing exceptional design and craftsmanship. Inspired by the textures of textiles, the dials are available in three captivating shades: the soft off-white “Shiroiro,” the subtle persimmon “Araigaki,” and the rich charcoal “Sumiiro.” These colors not only mirror the beauty of traditional Japanese clothing but also bring a depth and elegance to the watches.
Semi-Skeleton Models
The series also features two semi-skeleton models, offering a glimpse into the mechanical beauty of these timepieces. These open-heart dials, inspired by raw silk yarns, come in off-white and charcoal, adding to the collection’s appeal.

The New Presage Classic Series is set to launch in June, with an approximate price tag of $950 USD. This significant step for Seiko, scheduled for release in June, further solidifies its reputation for creating watches that transcend mere timekeeping.
