Porsche Design has launched the Chronograph 1 “All Black Numbered Edition,” paying tribute to the iconic Chrono I from 1972, crafted by 911 creator F. A. Porsche.

This modern timepiece features a matte black dial, black titanium carbide-coated case, and a sapphire crystal case back showcasing the Porsche Design icon winding rotor. The design merges classic elements with contemporary technology, creating a sleek and sophisticated watch for enthusiasts.

The Chronograph 1 is inspired by the Porsche 911’s cockpit instruments, focusing on functionality and readability. It includes a tachymeter scale, date display in Porsche Design font, and a unique rectangular minute hand.

Built for performance, it features a sevenfold anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a 48-hour power reserve. Each watch is meticulously crafted in Porsche’s Solothurn, Switzerland factory, ensuring top-tier quality.

Limited to 1,000 pieces per year, the Chronograph 1 “All Black Numbered Edition” is priced at $9,650 USD and is available through Porsche Design’s official website.
